Welcome from American Legion Post 223 Baseball

 American Legion Post 223 baseball we draw from Liberty, Century, South Carroll, Westminster, Winters Mill, Marriotts Ridge and Glenelg High Schools for boys 13u to 19u.

Tryouts for the 2024 Fall and  2025 Summer  Season! 

Tryout dates are Aug 6th and Aug 8th at 6pm.  August 10th at 11am


Please click on the link to register for tryouts.  Tryouts are at Saleronos Memorial Field behind the Sykesville Firehouse.

Milwaukee Brewers RHP Brandon Woodruff, who played American Legion Baseball for the Tupelo (Miss.) 49ers, has been selected as the 2022 ALB Graduate of the Year.

Purpose of American Legion Baseball
1. To Inculcate in youth a better understanding of the American way of life and to promote the principles of 100 percent Americanism.
2. To instill to the nation's youth a sincere desire to develop within themselves a feeling of citizenship, sportsmanship, loyalty, and team spirit.
3. To aid in the improvement and development of the physical fitness of our country's youth.
4 To build for the nation's future through our youth.
